LaSalle Grows...Heirloom Seeds at LaSalle Library

May 1 2018 - 6:00pm On Tuesday, May 1st, at 6:00 p.m. the LaSalle Public Library will host gardener, community activist, and folksinger, Anna Stange, when she presents, “LaSalle Grows…Heirloom Seeds at LaSalle Library.” In this hands-on program, especially for adults, participants will prepare soil, plant an array of seeds to take home, and learn about the proper way to transplant seedlings to grow a healthy harvest. Anna Stange, a longtime pioneer of library seed gardens will answer gardening questions, and will provide background for the “seed library movement” in public libraries.
