Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

Holiday Tips and Stress Management

Event Date:
Dec 7 2016 - 10:00am
Especially for Caregivers, from the Alzheimer’s Association

Join us at the LaSalle Public Library on Wednesday, December 7th, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. when Jenna Wachtveitl, a program specialist from the Alzheimer’s Association presents important information and tips especially for individuals who are providing care for someone with memory loss. While the role of the caregiver is often a labor of love, it can also be exhausting and stressful, especially during the holiday season.

This program will introduce participants to the causes, signs and symptoms of stress, and will provide participants with stress-reduction strategies. Jenna very much understands the importance of “caring for the caregiver.” With family experience caring for someone with Alzheimer ’s disease, she is understands challenges and will share ideas on how to make holidays both manageable and enjoyable.

This is a free program, open to the public, but registration is required. To register, please call 309-681-1100. The LaSalle Public Library is located at 305 Marquette, LaSalle. For more information, please call the Library at 815-223-2341.
