D-Day...a Turning Point

Join us, on Tuesday, May 26th, at 6:00 p.m. when Victor Croasdale presents an engaging and informative program about the events of the days leading up to the Allied invasion of France in June, 1944. From the prelude – the Treaty of Versailles, the rise of the Nazi Party and the Third Reich, to D-Day, Victor traces the war in Europe and Africa. With personal insights from his father’s recollections in the Royal Air Force during World War II, and his own research, Victor provides the audience with a look-back at these truly monumental events in history. Victor’s collection of scale World War II models – ships, aircraft,tanks, jeeps and other military vehicles – all personally crafted and authentically-detailed, will be on display.
