Enlightening and Inspiring Generations with Generations of Ideas

The library is a place of mental diversion, learning, and comfort for anyone who has an intellect.  I know of no librarian who when asked for food for the mind will offer a stone.  What more could anyone ask?

Melikin Puppets Holiday Performance

Event Date:
Dec 13 2012 - 6:30pm

Join us at the LaSalle Public Library when Melikin Puppet Theatre
brings together the excitement and magic of the Christmas season with
their two-part presentation of “The  Shoemaker and the Elves” and the
holiday classic, “The Night Before Christmas.”  “The Shoemaker and the
Elves” is a charming Grimm tale that relates how a poor family has a
Merry Christmas, thanks to the help of Santa’s elves.  “The Night
Before Christmas” is based on the beloved poem by Clement C. Moore—
only in this telling, Woofer, the family dog, is Santa’s special
assistant!

This program is free and open to the public however, space is limited.
Free tickets will be available at the LaSalle Public Library’s
Children’s Desk while space remains.  Children ages 2 and under need
not have a ticket.   To accommodate as many people as possible,
seating will be on the carpeted floor except for individuals who
require chairs.  The LaSalle Public Library is located at 305
Marquette, LaSalle.  For information, please call the Library at
